Should a horse in the (Archer) field be scratched prior to scratching deadline the slot holder from The Archer will at their sole discretion choose a replacement runner from the nominated emergencies. The selected runner must then assume the place of the scratched horse, and this runner will be automatically scratched from The Fitzroy. DECLARATION OF EMERGENCIES:
• The five emergencies selected for The Archer, subject to availability, will be the top five rated accepted horses still remaining in The Fitzroy at The Archer's acceptance deadline (Midday, Wednesday, April 29). These horses will be automatically nominated for, accepted into and declared emergencies in this race.
• The five emergencies will be placed in the field in rating order with horses on equal rating being balloted by average prizemoney.
• The emergencies will not be drawn in the field and will assume the barrier of the horse they are replacing if they secure a start in the race.
SCRATCHINGS:
In the event that a horse accepted in this race is scratched, it is imperative that the Slot Licensee refers to Clause 3 in its entirety in the Terms and Conditions of the Slot Holders Agreement for clarification of their entitlements.
PRIZEMONEY, TROPHIES & SILKS:
• Any prizemoney accrued will be paid as per the agreement between the slot holder and the owners.
• Where an emergency gains a start in the final field prizemoney will be paid 50/50 between the slot holder and the owners.
• The Archer’s winning owners trophy will belong to the slot holder.
• The jockeys of all runners in The Archer will wear the racing colours as determined by the slot holder.
EQUINE WELFARE WILL BE APPLIED AT A RATE OF 1.4% FOR THIS RACE.
