Field will be selected using the following criteria:
. For unraced horses only.
. Winners of Official Trials (held for horses aged 2YO & Up) at the following venues in the period November 1, 2025 to (and including) December 12, 2025;
NSW: Warwick Farm, Canterbury, Rosehill, Randwick, Wyong; VIC and SA: Any venues at which Official Trials are conducted in the stipulated period; QLD: Eagle Farm, Doomben and Aquis Park Gold Coast.
. Horses which qualify at Official Trials in Victoria and/or South Australia must obtain a certificate of tractability from a Queensland based QRIC Steward prior to the acceptance deadline.
. In the event there are in excess of 20 Official Trial winners accepted for the race, the field (of 12) and (8) emergencies will be determined by ballot method.
. In the event there are less than 20 Official Trial winners accepted for the race, a countback system will be employed whereby the field will comprise all Official Trial winners with the other available positions determined by ballot method for horses which have been placed 2nd and then 3rd in Official Trials at the above specified venues over the period November 1, 2025 to (and including) December 12, 2025, and then so on until such a time as the field capacity is attained.
. Official Trials, for the purpose of this program, are as prescribed in the Australian Rules of Racing and are sanctioned by a PRA. For avoidance of doubt, jumpouts are not deemed to be trials for the purposes of qualification/eligibility for this race. Said Official Trials must also be conducted over a distance of not less than 700m and have four or more starters (subject to QRIC protocol).
Eleventh and Twelth place: $1,263
Trainer/Jockey prizemoney percentages will only be applicable to horses which finish 1st to 10th place in this race. The equine welfare deduction will not be applicable to horses which finish 11th or worse in this race.
The Acceptance Fee of $1,263 (incl. GST) will be netted off against prizemoney payments to the Owners.

BALLOTING CONDITIONS: In the event of a ballot being required, the horses shall be eliminated in the following order:
1. Horses which have received no weight penalty shall be eliminated by rating with the lowest rating first and horses with equal rating shall be balloted by lot.
2. Horses which have received the lowest weight penalty, and so on upwards until the field limit is reached.
3. Horses in the same weight penalty category shall be eliminated by rating with the lowest rating first and horses with equal rating shall be balloted by lot.
PENALTIES:
1. The winner of a Non-Black type race of advertised prizemoney of $125,000 or more to carry an additional 1.0kg.
2. The winner of a Listed race (including R.L.) to carry an additional 1.5kg;
3. The winner of a Group 3 race to carry an additional 2kg;
4. The winner of a Group 2 race to carry an additional 3kg;
5. The winner of a Group 1 race to carry an additional 4kg.
